FAQS

YOU ARE NOT ALONE...HERE ARE ANSWERS TO THE MOST FREQUENT QUESTIONS ABOUT MY PRODUCTS, SHIPPING, AND ALL THE OTHER GOOD STUFF.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all of your original paintings one of a kind?

Yes. Every original painting is created by hand in my studio and is completely one of a kind. Once an original has found its home, it's gone forever. While I may explore similar color palettes or themes in future work, no two paintings are ever identical.

Are your original paintings signed?

Yes! Every original painting is signed by hand on the back. This keeps the artwork clean and allows the painting itself to remain the focal point.

Do your original paintings come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes. Every original painting includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity verifying that your artwork is an original piece created by me.

What materials do you paint with?

I primarily work with professional-grade watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, archival papers, and specialty materials, depending on the collection. Every piece is created using high-quality materials intended to be enjoyed for years to come.

Can I request a similar version of a painting that has already sold?

Absolutely. While I never create exact copies of previous work, I'd be happy to create a new original inspired by the colors, mood, or overall style of a piece you love.

Mini Originals

What are your Mini Originals?

Mini Originals are small, one-of-a-kind paintings that make collecting original art approachable and fun. They're perfect for shelves, gallery walls, desks, gifts, or anywhere that could use a little extra color.

Are the minis original paintings or prints?

Every Mini Original is exactly that—an original painting. They are painted by hand and are never printed or mass-produced.

Why are your Mini Originals so affordable?

I believe original art should be accessible. Mini Originals allow collectors to own an authentic, one-of-a-kind painting without making a huge investment. Many collectors start with a mini and build their collection over time.

Can I create a gallery wall using several minis?

Definitely! Minis are designed to mix, match, and grow with your space. Whether you choose coordinating colors or an eclectic collection, they look beautiful displayed together.

Do the Mini Originals come framed?

No. They arrive unframed, so you can choose a frame that best fits your style and space. If you'd like suggestions, I'm always happy to recommend framing options.

Art Prints

What's the difference between an original painting and an art print?

An original painting is the actual artwork created by hand. An art print is a high-quality reproduction of one of my original paintings, allowing you to enjoy the artwork in multiple sizes at a more accessible price.

What paper are your prints made on?

My prints are produced on premium archival paper designed to showcase rich color, beautiful detail, and long-lasting quality.

Are your prints of archival quality?

Yes. My prints are created using archival materials designed to resist fading when properly displayed and cared for.

Will the colors look exactly like they do online?

I work hard to photograph every piece as accurately as possible. Because every screen displays color a little differently, slight variations may occur.

Do your prints come in multiple sizes?

Yes. Available sizes vary by artwork and are listed on each product page.

Commission Pieces

Do you accept commissions?

Yes! I love creating artwork that's personal and meaningful. Whether you're looking for a statement piece, a special gift, or artwork inspired by your home, I'd love to hear your ideas.

How does the commission process work?

We'll start with a conversation about your vision, colors, style, size, and space. Once we have a plan, I'll begin creating your painting and share progress along the way to make sure we're bringing your vision to life together.

Can you match my home's colors and style?

Absolutely. Many clients share room photos, paint colors, fabric samples, or inspiration images so I can create artwork that feels like it belongs in your space.

Can I send inspiration photos?

Yes! Inspiration photos are incredibly helpful. Whether it's artwork you love, room photos, color palettes, or textures, they all help guide the creative process.

How involved am I in the design process?

As involved as you'd like to be. Some clients have a very clear vision, while others simply give me a few ideas and trust the process. Either way, we'll work together to create something you'll love.

How long does a commission usually take?

Every project is unique, but most commissions are completed within several weeks, depending on size, complexity, and my current schedule. I'll always provide an estimated timeline before we begin.

Can you paint meaningful places, memories, or sentimental subjects?

Absolutely. Some of my favorite commissions are inspired by meaningful moments, favorite places, treasured memories, or personal stories. Those pieces often become the most cherished.

Shipping

How long will my order take to arrive?

Processing and shipping times vary depending on whether you're purchasing an original painting, print, or commissioned piece. Estimated timelines are listed on each product page, and you'll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! International shipping is available to many locations. Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated during checkout.

How are original paintings packaged?

Every original painting is carefully packaged using protective materials to help ensure it arrives safely and beautifully.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information so you can follow its journey to your door.

Framing

Do your paintings come framed?

Unless otherwise noted, artwork is sold unframed. This gives you the flexibility to choose a frame that best complements your style and space.

Can you recommend frames?

Absolutely! I've put together some of my favorite framing options to make displaying your artwork easy, whether you're looking for tabletop acrylic stands, floating frames, or traditional wall frames. For framing tips and inspiration, check out our blog post: Gallery Wall Frames: How to Frame and Display Your Original Art.

Do you offer framing?

Not at this time. However, I'm always happy to recommend framing options based on the artwork you've purchased.

How do I display Mini Originals?

Mini Originals are incredibly versatile. Display them on a shelf with an acrylic stand, frame them individually, or group several together to create a colorful gallery wall.
