Vision in Thread – Small Original Beaded Watercolor

This is a one-of-a-kind, small, original watercolor. It is hand-embroidered and delicately embellished with seed beads for a pop of color and lively texture. 

This 4.5 x 5 inch piece explores texture, layers,  and experimentation with various embroidery techniques. Each stitch and bead is intentionally placed, creating subtle dimension.

This is an original painting. No prints. No duplicates.

Vision in Thread was created in The Mood Room studio in Tulsa, Oklahoma by Michelle Willliams.

• One-of-a-kind artwork, hand sewn, hand beaded. No artists were harmed during the creation of this tiny little masterpiece. 

The back is securely finished by hand and reflects the raw, artistic process rather than an industrial or mass-produced backing.

Each mini is created individually and carries the character of true handmade work.

I’ve had a lot of experience displaying these mini watercolors seeing as they are my favorite things to make. These are the display methods that worked best for me.  

-In a small shadow box frame (ideal for protecting dimensional beadwork)

-I recently bought placecard holders for dinner table and used those to prop up my paintings. In the product photos, there is an example of the placecard holders that I bought. They work great!
